Last updated: June 2026

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the manchesterstress.com website and, where applicable, your booking of services with Manchester Stress Institute ("MSI", "we", "us", "our"). By using our website or booking a programme with us, you agree to these Terms.

Use of this website

The content on this website is provided for general information about MSI and our programmes. While we make every effort to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties about the completeness, reliability or accuracy of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is at your own risk.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images and materials provided as part of our programmes — is the property of Manchester Stress Institute or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.

Bookings and enquiries

Submitting an enquiry through our contact form does not constitute a booking. All workshops, programmes, coaching and speaking engagements are subject to a separate written agreement or proposal, which will set out the specific terms, fees, scheduling and cancellation policy for that engagement.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for booked programmes will be set out in the proposal or agreement for that programme. Please refer to your specific agreement, or contact us if you need to discuss a change to a confirmed booking.

No medical advice

Our programmes, resources and downloads are designed to support workplace wellbeing and are for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or other healthcare advice. If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MSI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our programmes. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of any third-party sites, and including a link does not imply endorsement.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
